News Update
I will not be able to go back to america this summer due to the rising gas prices, however i did get a job at a bi-lingual elementary school for next school year, but it is going to require a lot of work and thinking. (Something that I am not good at, you guys know already) You all enjoy the Chi-Town summer and I will enjoy rice and mosquitoes. and cochroaches. But on some good news, i just found Doris Lee on You Tube, she is indeed a superstar. P.S. Can you guess where Michael is? Check it out at: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=LbhuQfSwa_k

Update
Hello everyone,
It has been a long time since I have updated, but since I brought my two students into the computer lab, I have some free time now to update. I got a job at Ivy Collegiate Academy in Taichung, which is in the middle of the country. It is a boarding school for grades 7-12. I live on the second floor with the upper school boys. I have two bedrooms, 3 toilets, 3 showers, 3 sinks, 2 twin size beds pushed together, a mini-fridge, a tv, and a dvd player all for myself. I get 3 free meals a day and access to all of the school's things. It sounds pretty good right? Not really, the school is in the middle of nowhere and I do not have a scooter. A taxi ride is 10 dollars to the nearest town with things to do, so I pretty much stay inside and play ping pong with the students. Also, rotating between 2 other teachers I have to make sure all the kids go to sleep, go to their meals, and that they clean up their rooms, etc. It is seriously a 24/7 job. As of know I teach a health and fitness class 3 days a week, a gym class 2 times a week, a grade 8 esl job 5 days a week that only has 2 students in it, and a esl 7th grade class 5 days a week with only 1 student in it. Besides that, I am coaching the jv basketball team. There is an a team and a b team, so I have two teams. The boys had two games each so a total of 4 games and we are still undefeated. The boys b team beat the other team 64 to 17, they were like throwing up three's with their eyes closed and making them, it was crazy. Anyways I am just working crazily and that is about it. check it out b/c my picture is on it,,,,yeah! laters

Happy V day!
So we decided to go to a hotspring resort to celebrate valentines day. The water in the bathtub comes from the freshest mountain waters of Taiwan. It was pretty crazy cool, however we could not put the water that hot considering saki would faint if we did, but it was still hot and awesome. It was romantic and the perfect way to celebrate our valentines day. When all of you visit Taiwan we will all go and have a huge par-tay at the hotsprings. Also, one night we went to a place called modern toilet where everything had to do with toilets. The seats were all toilets, the food come inside a toilet, the sinks were toilets. I was so entranced by the toilet seen and how good food tasted from a toilet that from that day on I eat all my meals on the toilet inside saki's house's bathroom. Hope you all like the pics. Pax Out.

Update
Ok, the zoo movie does not work due to the fact that it is huge. It took me like an hour to download from the source and blogspot signs me out before it finishes downloading. So i guess you guys will not be able to watch it. On other news, 2 weeks ago i went for an interview at a junior high/high school for an english teaching job. It is in Taoyuan, which is like a not very new or nice town. The agent who contacted me told me to meet him at a train station where he would drive us to the school for the interview. I forgot to tell the agent that saki would be coming along. So, saki and i are at the train station waiting and we started guessing who the guy was and what he looked like and what he would be picking us up in. We were hoping it was not a scooter because that would just be weird, me sandwiched inbetween some random dude and saki. We kept guessing until he came and picked us up, fortunately it was a car, unfortunately it was a dirty scary looking car. It had McDonalds bags and maps all over. Luckily, saki was with me and was used to this sort of thing. So, Saki didn't want me to get this job b/c it was a bad city and far from where she lived and the school was in the middle of nowhere so I really didn't want it, but i wanted the experience of the interview. Also, another guy came along and we all went into the school to wait for the interview. I thought this guy was another agent coming along for the ride. He was a nice dude and we had a friendly chat. Right before the interview I was informed he was also applying for the job. Whateves. I also had to teach for 10 minutes on this magazine from the Jan. issue. I could not find the jan issue and i had no idea what to teach so i decided on valentines day differences/similarities from taiwan and u.s. It did not go well. I talked to fast and all my questions posed where met by confused faces looking at me. I just kept talking and talking and I didn't even know what i was talking about. Only one kid answered my questions, but he was sitting right in front of me and i kept looking at him. Anyways, i thought i did horrible and i didn't care. 1 week later they called me and wanted me for the job. I quickly said NO. So, the point is i am a great teacher! Here are some other random photos so far. Pax out.
